Although, the photo itself has great long term generic potential for 'general flooding events'. But, it would be nice to have a check box for the submitted to opt-out of the submission completion if not approved for a current event(nah, probably not) or perhaps a check-box to designate a current event and why. Maybe a more relevant description to the event 'June 2008 flooding in Chelsea, IA due to the Iowa River topping the failed levy in xxxx on June xx, 2008' might be more of a clue to the editors that it's a current event (just in case they are not familiar with major US current events). Or maybe a checkbox indicating it was accepted as a current news event so contributors know. Not sure what the answer is here but, the photo certainly has better long term earnings potential as a generic flooding event type photo.
