After a career as a gynecologic surgeon and a lifetime as a amateur photographer, Janet Everhard re-invented herself as a travel writer and professional photographer. In 2013 she developed a facebook blog, "The CURE for Adventure Deficit Disorder", to showcase her travels worldwide and to inspire others to "show up" to adventure possibilities. In her photography she strives for capture of the serendipitous "moment".
In addition, Dr. Janet is a kayaker, grandmother, and Outreach Coordinator for Team River Runner (an organization that teaches water sports to disabled veterans).
