Biografia
I always hate writing these things. Can never make things sound interesting.
First of all I am male, Born July 1984, Living in Aberdeen Scotland and trying to find my way around this life.
Started Photographing in 2004 thanks to a article in FHM magazine on Greg Marinovic (the bang bang club, digitalfilmmaker.net/Bang/bangbangclub.html )
I was studying Multimedia and half of the course was traditional photograph. The first time I walked in to a darkroom I knew this was to be my life.
Loved working in dark rooms and dealing with chemicals and the process of traditional black and white.
During college I started modern-image nightlife www.modern-image.co.uk.
Finding a gap in the Market for nightclub photograph. We currently cover Aberdeen but also Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee and have 8 photographers working.
I mainly work in Event, interior, portrait (when I can be arsed) photograph but my passion is with Landscape.
Currently been working self employed as a photographer but some people might call me daft, I am currently looking to change my career and Join the police. I want to bring my photography back to a hobby and concentrate on my Landscape using traditional techniques.
I sell a good number of my landscape work through my website www.jameskellyphotography.com
and ebay user I.D: jameskellyphotography.
I have a blog which I don't write to everyday but when I feel I need to speak but don't actually want to talk to anyone I will post it there. jameskelly.wordpress.com/
So if you like what I do or don't like what I do leave me a comment and tell me why.
Look forward to hearing from you all
James Kelly
